Local services for the Wiltshire region:
Are operated from Westbury, Chippenham, Warminster, Devizes and Trowbridge.
We thought it would be a good idea to let you know what to expect when you first contact us. Currently you can either call us using the single point of entry number or come into an outreach centre.
Absolutely anyone and everyone 18 years and over is welcome, all enquiries are free and are dealt with confidentially and respectfully. These enquires can include people who need information or help regarding: alcohol, heroin, crack, cocaine, cannabis, ketamine, ectasy (MDMA), legal highs, amphetamines etc. and any of the new drugs or highs that are coming along.
Single Point of Entry
We are the single point of access for anyone in Wiltshire who is seeking help with his or her drug and/or alcohol intake.
You can contact us directly on 0845 603 6993 or one of our community partners such as a GP can refer you.
At this first contact you will have a brief chat with a trained staff member. They will ask you a few questions. This may lead to you to having a fuller assessment with a partner agency or us; which will identify the right course of action for you.
We will ensure that you get access to the best and most appropriate service for you.
You will see that our aim is to get you the right support as fast as possible.
Everything that you tell us is handled with the strictest confidence.
Outreach centres
When you enter one of our centres you will be welcomed, you will find it’s a very social place, where there is a listening ear and a nice cup of tea.
People use drugs and alcohol for different reasons. The quantities and length of time using will be very different for each individual. We are here to ensure that you have access to information and resources that are essential to be safe. And then, when needed, to guide you on the road to recovery.
Whatever your concerns, about your own, or someone else’s drug and/or alcohol use, we can help you to make changes and to find the support you need.

We believe in recovery and we understand that this may be a long and complex journey. We work with the individual to help them make the changes in their drug and/or alcohol use they are seeking. Our ethos is to work towards the goals that best suit the individuals using the service. We encourage everyone to work towards harm minimisation or “safer” drug or alcohol use.

Wiltshire is a ceremonial county in South West England. The ancient county town was Wilton, but since 1930 Wiltshire County Council and its successor Wiltshire Council (from 2009) have been based at County Town of Trowbridge, which is approximately 12 miles south east of Bath. Wiltshire is characterised by its high downland and wide valleys. Salisbury Plain is famous as the location of the Stonehenge stone circle and other ancient landmarks. The city of Salisbury is notable for its medieval cathedral.
