about

Do you have a minute?

We have heard that Bath Rugby Club may be reviewing their charities and now would be a great time for New Highway to get such a great local sponsor.

We are keen to let them know about the local work we do and the people we help. We thought the best way to approach this was to encourage you to contact them on our behalf.

I nominate the charity New Highway to become a designated charity. This local charity helps those suffering from drug and alcohol abuse. Their website is: www.newhighway.org.uk.

New Highway, the charity formerly known as Bath Area Drug Advisory Service (BADAS), provides free, confidential services for anyone concerned about their own, or someone else’s drug use or drinking. They have been helping to reduce harm in the community and promote change for over 25 years.

New Highway believes in recovery and understands that this may be a long and complex journey. They work with the individual to help them make the changes to their drug and/or alcohol use that they are seeking. Their ethos is to work towards the goals that best suit the individuals using the service. They encourage everyone to work towards harm minimisation or “safer” drug or alcohol use and when appropriate recovery.

Thank you for your supprt.
